Inukshuk Farm is a boarding and lesson stable owned and operated by Janice and Miles Ecclestone since 1997.  Inukshuk clients cover a broad spectrum of disciplines including AQHA showing, dressage, jumping and trailriding.  Our goal is to provide a professional yet social atmosphere for competitive and pleasure riders along with a comfortable, safe environment for their horses.  Our lesson program has two very accomplished and experienced coaches, Amy Croteau and Stephanie Crawford and we are very proud of a wide range of amazing students from the very young to mature years.  We especially love seeing adults making that decision to follow their dream and learn to ride!  Several of our clients are doing just that and are doing amazing!  We also offer partboard opportunities to our lesson clients so they can "almost" own their own horse without the full expense.  Also a new feature at Inukshuk Lesson Program is the possibility of "practise rides" during the week for students who have their coaches approval.

We chose Inukshuk as the name of our Farm because of the following meaning and also to acknowledge Miles’ two decades of research (on glaciers) in the Canadian Arctic.

The Inukshuk (pronounced IN-OOK-SHOOK) meaning "in the image of man", are magnificent lifelike figures of stone which were erected by the Inuit people and are unique to the Canadian Arctic.  Standing across Canada's North, they endure as eternal symbols of leadership, encouraging the importance of friendship and reminding us of our dependence upon one another.
